Mother's Day (Trust)

Today marks the beginning of the Marti Perkins Originals mother’s day activities! Leading up to mother’s day, I would like to share with you how being a mother has connected me to God in a deeper way and how this connection has inspired so many of my pieces.

Being a mother has brought me closer to God by helping me understand God's love for us. The love we have for our children is the same kind of love He has for us, and even MORE.

I always pray for the wisdom to do the right things for my children. I have learned to open my hands and trust God with their journeys. “Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not rely on your own understanding; Think about Him in all your ways, and He will guide you on the right paths.” (Proverbs 3:5-6)
